Highlights of my week:

Receiving recordings of Miaskovsky’s Symphonies performed by Russian Orchestras conducted by the great Evgeny Svetlanov.

Attending a performance of Helen Lucas’s Sarajevo Suite performed by La Mama Theatre Company, Mobile.
What a delight that was for me when I found that it included enthusiastically sung folk music!
